The method is not chosen in advance. It is fitted to the context, the objectives and the constraints of the site — and more often than not, several are combined.

Each method has its domain of relevance, its investigation depth and its resolution. None answers every question alone.

ARP® Electrical resistivity Patented by GEOCARTA. Continuous resistivity measurement across several depths at once, at working speed.
EMP Electromagnetics Soil conductivity down to six metres and magnetic susceptibility, in a single pass.
AMP Magnetometry A passive method. Measures the magnetic gradient generated by elements in the shallow subsurface.
GPR Ground-penetrating radar Multi-antenna array spaced 8 to 16 cm apart. The highest resolution in the catalogue.
MULTI Multi-method approach Crossing methods removes ambiguity none of them resolves alone. Our principal differentiator.
